The aluminum Christmas "tree". The idea was that the light from the spotlight (with the revolving color wheel) would reflect amidst the tree and transmit different colors as the wheel went round and round. Thus, no need for tree lights. Of course, it worked better if you turned all the other lights in the room off. It's hard to imagine that this was once all the rage, but it was. Go figure . . . .
