WALGREENS BACKS DOWN ON ABORTION PILL
  Walgreens this week stated that it will not sell Mifepristone in Kansas after the state’s attorney general wrote a letter to the retail pharmacy giant warning that sending the abortion pills to Kansas would violate state and federal laws. The statement is the first example of a pharmacy balking in the face of legal confrontations since the Biden administration first announced that retail pharmacy companies could be certified to dispense abortion pills.  READ
 
 
 
UTAH ADVANCES GROUNDBREAKING PRO-LIFE BILL  Last Friday the Utah House of Representatives in a party-line vote passed some of the strongest pro-life legislation advanced since the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. If passed by the state’s Senate and signed into law, the measure effectively would shut down abortion clinics that only offer abortion. The bill would also make it a criminal offense for out-of-state actors to prescribe abortion drugs to Utahns. Republican Gov. Spencer Cox has signaled his support for the bill.  READ
