Live Blogging The Oscars - Part Three; Red Carpet

Hugh Jackman just lifted his wife AND Kristin Chenoweth. The wife is hardly petite.

Facial hair is still in for men. The scruffy look prevails. We're watching Chris Evans right now and he's sporting it.

Here's Bobby De Niro -- and he's looking just as he is; no pretenses. He's very direct. He says he likes Bradley Cooper who he calls a "great guy" and says he likes Cooper "because he likes me.. I like people who like me."

Daniel Radcliffe does honor to the name "Daniel" -- as does the great Daniel Day Lewis. But then again, most Dans are great guys and remarkably well adjusted. Maybe that's because it's such a solid, basic name. Did you know that most Dans love their name? Our continuing, informal poll shows that they do.

Kate Hudson says that the Oscars feel like "an olf magical piece of time." Her vivid, extraordinary dress is by Valentino. She's very, very sexy!

The color of Jannifer Garner's dress is dreadful.

Halle Berry is absolutely statuesque in Versace. Magnifique!

Adele: We can hardly understand a word she's saying. But she is dressed appropriately, for a big girl.

Why doesn't George Clooney (nominated eight times in six different categories) get married already? He's now almost completely gray -- or so it would appear.
