A Spiritual Journey Worth Taking . . . .

Faithful from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are invited to join Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. for a Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

The day will begin with a Penance service and recitation of the Holy Rosary followed by a Procession and Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Archbishop Chaput will be the celebrant and homilist for Solemn Mass at 3:00 p.m.

The Archdiocesan Pastoral Center is sponsoring bus transportation to the National Shrine. Bus fare is available for $25 per person. Buses will depart from the Pastoral Center located at 222 North 17th Street, Philadelphia at 7:00 a.m. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and to anticipate a dinner stop on the return trip to Philadelphia.
