You Won't Find Others Like These Anywhere!

If you've ever thought of toring the Greek islands (and you haven't already done so) our advice is "Don't wait. Do it!"
The islands are wonderfully alluring and for the most part they live up to their reputation as being pure enchantment.
We are not on the fourth of our Greek port stops (the island of Mykonos) as we island hop aboard Holland America's MS Oosterdam. Cruise travel is probably the best way to see the Greek islands and soak up all that this part of the world has to offer. We say this because it goves you the opportunity to enjoy the best of each island or port stop and then move on.
We're also glad that we've chosen this time of year to visit Greece and the islands (with Venice thrown in, just for good measure) instead of the height of the tourist season. The weather is wonderfully mild with blue skies and light breezes. True, it's not exactly beach weather but we didn't come here to lay around on a beach anyway.
Mykonos is one of the most picturesque places we've ever visited. The white-washed houses, stores and cafes blend in some beautifully with the perfect sky and clear waters of the Aegean (which take on a blue and green hue here depending on depth at any given place) that it's hard to imagine a more beguiling setting.
So, here is Mykonos. We hope you enjoy just a few of the views!
