While Iowa isn't the swing state it once was, Democrats can and do win in Iowa. So it's worth paying attention to the Hawkeye State.
That's why a new poll out of Iowa should give the Democrats a sleepless nights.
The poll is very, very, VERY bad news for Joe Biden. It shows him slipping below the LOWEST NUMBER EVER MEASURED for a president in the well-respected Iowa poll. Just 31 percent of Iowans approve of how Joe Biden is handling his duties as president. Meanwhile, twice as many people (a whopping 62 percent) disapprove. "This is a bad poll for Joe Biden, and it's playing out in everything that he touches right now," the poll's director told the Des Moines Register.
If these figures hold, it's bad news for Biden and the dems next year as they will likely be wiped out in House and Senate races. Here's what the Gallup poll has noted in the past:
"In Gallup's polling history, presidents with job approval ratings below 50% have seen their party lose 37 House seats, on average, in midterm elections. That compares with an average loss of 14 seats when presidents had approval ratings above 50%."
Did you vote for Joe Biden? If you did, shame on 'ya! He's a disaster!
