Christie Orders Flags Lowered To Honor Officer

Today, Governor Chris Christie signed the following Executive Order:

Executive Order No. 160 - Ordering all State buildings to fly flags at half-staff on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 to honor the service and sacrifice of Waldwick Police Officer Christopher Goodell, who grew up in Waldwick and tragically lost his life in the line of duty. Officer Goodell served in the United States Marine Corps before joining the Waldwick Police Department, where he was a police officer for five years.

“Officer Goodell’s dedication to serving his nation and community makes it appropriate and fitting for the State of New Jersey to recognize his life, mourn his passing and remember his family as they grieve their tragic loss,” said Governor Christie.
