Look At These Great Dishes From Hilton Head!

We've been enjoying some great eating on beautiful Hilton Head Island this summer and we thought we'd share some of our more appealing plates with you. But, don't worry -- we've also been getting plenty of exercise as we have to work off some of these extra calories.

Anyway, here are some of our favorites:

The sweet corn chowder at The Smokehouse.
The black 'n blue salad at Reilley's -- a crisp wedge with beef and blue cheese.

Above, the grilled flounder with salad and sweet potato corn bread and the fried flounder with green beans and yellow rice at The Sea Shack -- one of the very best restaurant on the island for fresh seafood -- a real winner!

The baked cod with cracker crust and  green beans, carrots and rice at Reilley's

Above, the blackboard specials and interior of The Seafood Shack.

Above, breakfast at the wonderful Plantation Cafe. The Belgian waffle with bacon and the egg white omelette with grits and buttermilk biscuit.
