I call him the first leader of the post-journalistic age, because journalism, as we once knew it, is dead. What we have now are various forms of advocacy, gossip, hearsay, sensationalism and outright propaganda.
It's in this minestrone soup that Trump has learned to swim quite adeptly -- with the help of social media and other devices not available to previous presidents.
And I can argue that when the mainstream media even randomly question your mental state, you have no other choice than to jump into the stew and chart your own course.
To which I say "Bravo!"
