An Amazing Array Of Talent And Inspiration!

Concerts at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul is proud to present its 7th season of concerts highlighting Philadelphia’s rich choral tradition alongside inspiring ensembles from around the world at the historic Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

This season brings a range of talent including Cantus, Westminster Williamson Voices, and the internationally acclaimed ensemble Chanticleer. The concert series will open with the Minneapolis-based group Cantus, offering choral repertoire extending from classics by Schubert and Strauss to modern luminaries including Eric Whitacre in a program titled Discovery of Sight.

This spring, Concerts at the Cathedral Basilica presents a major event bringing together two important institutions – Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia and Symphony in C – to perform Beethoven’s epic Symphony No. 9, complete with full orchestra, large chorus, and vocal soloists.

For the first time, the concert series welcomes the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale. The Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated group will present a wide-ranging program mixing spiritual reflections and a celebration of Americana as they conclude the concert season.
