Schlafly: Obama's Waging War On Religious Freedom

Here is a special message from Phyllis Schlafly:

Don’t miss getting a copy of my new book No Higher Power: Obama’s War on Religious Freedom, co-authored with George Neumayr, about Obama’s efforts to eliminate all public references to religion, to force religious worship behind closed doors and to coerce religious institutions into financing drugs and procedures that violate their faith. Go to EagleForum.org to get your copy of my new book that comes out today for $25, which includes shipping.

Hear me talk about my book No Higher Power with Laura Ingraham on Tuesday, July 24 at 10:35 a.m. (ET) and Mark Levin on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. (ET) You can watch my speech on the book at the Eagle Forum Collegians Summit on C-SPAN2 BookTV.
Time is running out to expose Obama’s hostility to religion before the 2012 Election. I wrote No Higher Power to help you share with friends and family the truth about Obama’s vision for America’s future. Here are just a few of the examples in the book that the public needs to know:
  • In April 2009, Obama delivered a speech at Georgetown University only after his staff had pressured the Catholic college to conceal the monogram for the name of Jesus that was always displayed above the podium.
  • In May 2009, he canceled the traditional White House event honoring the National Day of Prayer, saying that he would pray only in private.
  • Obama began censoring religious words out of important American documents, such as the Declaration of Independence, from which he many times deleted the word “Creator.”
  • When Obama gave the traditional Presidential Thanksgiving Day address in 2011, it’s not clear whom he was thanking on this uniquely American holiday, but it was not God.
  • In September 2011, the U.S. Army revised guidelines for Walter Reed Hospital to read: “No religious items (i.e., Bibles, reading materials …) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit.” The hospital rescinded this policy only after Congressman Steve King (R-IA) reported it to the House of Representatives.
When Barack Obama promised to “fundamentally transform the United States” we could not have anticipated the extreme transformation he would seek. Get a copy of my new book No Higher Power: Obama’s War on Religious Freedom to learn and share the truth about Obama before our nation votes on November 6, 2012.
