Wednesday, Republican conferees from the current 7th Congressional District selected Pearl Kim to be the nominee for the special election to be held for the district on November 6, 2018.
In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:
“Pearl Kim is one of the most exciting young candidates running for Congress this year and I would like to congratulate her on being nominated.
“Pearl’s moderate pro-law enforcement and pro-taxpayer platform stands in stark contrast to the radical left-wing positions of her opponent.
“As we move toward the mid-term and special elections in November, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania will continue to exert every effort to keep this seat red and elect pro-growth Republican candidates up and down the ticket."
