Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (NDS), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) “Farmers to Families” Food Box Program, will distribute free food to individuals and families impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and facing food insecurity.
The pre-packaged food boxes, which supports American farmers and families affected by the pandemic, will contain 10 pounds of nourishing produce, five pounds of meat, and five pounds of dairy products. Recipients also will receive a gallon of milk.

NDS will offer a contactless drive-through distribution following all social distancing guidelines. No registration or qualifications are required. Cars are asked to pull into the entrance of the APC Parking lot located on 17 th Street and exit onto 18 th street. Walk-ups will also be accommodated.
In addition, NDS will be providing free student meal boxes for children and youth who are virtual learners not receiving school meals. Each box will contain five breakfasts and five lunches along with milk. This relief effort is especially critical for families with virtual students who cannot get to a NDS sponsored meal site during the week.
NDS aims to distribute approximately 1,152 “Farmers to Families” food boxes to those in need.
