Toomey To Sign Death Tax Repeal Pledge

Tomorrow, Monday, September 20, 2010, Pennsylvania U.S. Senate candidate and former small business owner Pat Toomey will hold a news conference to sign the American Family Business Institute’s Death Tax Repeal Pledge at the family-owned mechanical and electrical contracting firm, Herre Bros., Inc., in Enola, PA. Joining Pat will be Herre Bros., Inc. President and CEO, Richard McBride and Dick Patten, President of the American Family Business Foundation, a research and education organization for America’s family business owners and farmers.
Pat Toomey has long supported the elimination of the Death Tax.  During his time in Congress, cosponsored and voted for the Death Tax Repeal Permanency Act to make permanent the repeal of the estate tax.  Joe Sestak, on the other hand, voted twice against a permanent repeal of the Death Tax.
